Silsbee Chamber of Commerce Banquet
This event highlights our Business, Citizen, 1st Responder & Teacher of the Year and more.. It is a themed event, with great food, music, entertainment, and a fun night to mix and mingle with your neighbors. This event is opened to the public and we encourage our members to bring friends & family and others.

Silsbee Little Theater
The months of March and April bring the very popular annual dinner theater hosted by the Silsbee Little Theater. The theater's strong reputation draws attendees from all over the region and plays to a sold-out crowd every year. Tickets go fast! Check out their Facebook Page for more information at

Silsbee Fourth of July Fireworks Show
The Silsbee Volunteer Fire Department is at it again! The team will be hosting the Annual Silsbee Fourth of July fireworks celebration! It is held the last Saturday in June at the Silsbee High School. Food, vendors, and family fun!

Annual Golf Tournament
This event has been revived and is being hosted by Silsbee Chamber of Commerce. The event will be held at Silsbee Country Club during Homecoming weekend for more information contact: 409-385-5562
Cruise-n-Silsbee
Last weekend in September, each year finds vintage, antique, and sports cars flocking to Silsbee for a “Show and Shine,” parade, drag races, and lots of family fun. Visit their website for more information at

Veteran's Day
Since 1994, the students of Silsbee High School have honored local veterans in the high school performing arts center EVERY VETERAN'S DAY. The program is centered around a theme each year and includes a guest speaker, a tribute to the veterans, posting of colors, a bagpipe performance, and a Wall of Honor as a tribute to deceased veterans. A reception honoring the Veterans is held in the high school cafeteria immediately following the program. Approximately 250 people attend this event annually.

Christmas in the Big Thicket
The first Saturday in December brings Silsbee out to celebrate the holiday season in downtown. The event is hosted by the Silsbee Public Library-contact them for more information. The events spans three blocks, and has something for everyone: Craft and Food booths, live performances, children’s area, Make-And-Take-It at the Ice House Museum, and Santa Claus photos.

Christmas Lighted Parade (Themed)
This event follows Christmas in the Big Thicket. Each year The Annual themed Lighted parade brings out everyone from all ages. The parade is hosted by the Silsbee Chamber of Commerce and Silsbee Volunteer Fire Department. The parade starts at Hwy 418 and goes down Main (5th street) . It is a beautiful display of floats, cars and horses.
