On, September 8th, 2020 Our beloved Pines Theater was donated by AMC to the Silsbee Visitor Center. On September 10, 2020 We announced it to the public.  Thank you to all who came out and supported.  We had popcorn & drinks and Kona Ice was there.  We appreciate everyone, who came out from local news, Chamber board members & ambassadors, our local commissioners, and dignitaries. Once the theater is back open, we will be showing old movies, have musical programs and will be an event center for rent such as: weddings, receptions, reunions, corporate meetings and events and so much more.  

We are so excited about having this historical place back in the hands of the community. We have monthly events, corporate, individual donations and grants.  We are asking everyone to pitch in by donating monthly to the project, volunteer, stay positive, and help #savethepines.
